We are looking for the Fraud and Payments Team Lead.

Skills/knowledge required for the position

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the iGaming industry, incl. min 1 year of experience in leadership and people’s management position in Fraud/Payments/Risk department 

  • In-depth knowledge of payments processes in iGaming and best practices across the industry

  • Advanced level of professional knowledge in the field of fraud prevention in online casinos

  • Excellent knowledge of English language (proficiency in French is an asset)

  • Willingness to actively contribute into development of new processes, deployment of tools, department’s & brand’s growth

  • Comfortable taking initiatives and making decisions within the agreed scope when deemed necessary

  • Experience in dealing with chargebacks and chargeback prevention strategies

  • Familiar with AMLD 4 & AMLD 5, GDPR and general regulatory requirements in the iGaming

  • Knowledge of best practices in reporting procedures in the industry

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent time management skills 

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision

  • Flexibility, hand-on attitude, positive mindset

  • Open-minded and tech savvy

  • Organised, diligent and attentive to detail

  • Previous experience in training

  • Previous experience in writing procedures and preparing internal processes/guidelines/flow charts

Main job responsibilities

  • Managing daily work of  FP Analysts whilst ensuring business requirements and department’s goals are met

  • Performing regular quality checks of FP Analysts

  • Preparing quarterly bonus criteria review for FP Analysts and conducting 1:1 performance appraisals

  • Preparing the roster and scheduling for the team ensuring the operational needs are covered

  • Approving, tracking and reporting sick leave, paid leave and public holidays

  • Participating in the identification of training needs and in the implementation of the relevant trainings and workshops; contributing to the development and growth of the FP analysts and the department as a whole

  • Providing expert opinion to FP Analysts, assisting with their queries 

  • Updating and expanding internal knowledge base regularly

  • Assisting the manager in recruiting, onboarding and training of new hirees

  • Assisting the manager with review and improvement of internal processes in line with brand’s strategy and department’s goals 

  • Closely liaising with other departments on ideas for enhancing the internal processes and communication flow

  • Actively contributing to the payments product improvement, in line with the planned expansion (i.e. suggesting operational changes, new reports, testing, BIN analysis)

  • Monitoring PSPs performance, reporting downtimes

  • Liaising with payment providers in case of payment issues

  • Actively contributing to the strategy of fraud prevention and its execution by FP Analysts

  • Preparing chargeback disputes

  • Maintaining flexibility and readiness to perform FP Analysts tasks if there is an operational need

  • Maintaining high level of discretion whilst performing fraud and KYC checks

  • Reporting to Fraud and Payments Manager
