Job Description

Advance Career Ltd, on behalf of our client a well established Forex organization, seeks to employ an Assistant Compliance Officer in Larnaca;

Responsibilities:
Reports to the Head of Compliance with recommendations for the department’s improvement and
development by monitoring and assessing the compliance risk level that the Company faces
Reviews and updates the Company's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CySEC rules and regulations
Supports the Head of Compliance by monitoring and assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures and procedures in place designed to detect any risk of failure by the Company to comply with its obligations under Law 87(I)/2017
Assists with the implementation of the Company’s compliance monitoring program according to CySEC Compliance guidelines
Implements the Company's compliance monitoring program by carrying out periodic compliance audits
Drafts written reports in relation to the Company’s compliance function
Responds to CySEC requests and liaises with CySEC officers on matters relevant to the Company's
compliance function
Examines, evaluates and responds promptly to Client complaints/grievances
Updates the Company’s organisational chart to reflect actual reporting lines and Company’s staff
members and gives the relevant notifications to CySEC
Prepares and maintains sufficient records of the Company’s correspondence with CySEC and/or any other relevant documentation of the Company
Stays up to date with revisions of the legal framework and makes relevant suggestions to the Head of Compliance
Responds to compliance enquiries
Prepares training material for Company’s staff in relation to Compliance function as necessary
Reviews the Company’s agreements making relevant recommendations to the Head of Compliance
Works on related revisions to the Company’s documentation
Carries out any further duties assigned by their direct supervisor(s)

Required Qualifications

Qualifications:
University Degree in Legal, Finance or Economics field or similar
Experience in a similar role would be considered an advantage
Holder of the CySEC Advance Certification would be considered an advantage
Experience within regulated company would be considered an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Has the ability to multi task and work to strict deadlines
