Job Description

Following the huge success of Contemporary Indian Cuisine restaurant in Pissouri, Saffron has decided to open our second restaurant in Central Limassol. We are currently considering applicants for the position of Restaurant Manager. Please submit resumes to  team@saffroncyprus.com

1. General Responsibilities.

- Recruiting, training, and supervising staff

- Managing budgets

- Planning menus

- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, health and safety legislation/guidelines

- Promoting and marketing the business

- Overseeing stock levels

- Ordering supplies

- Managing staff rotas

- Handling customer enquiries and complaints

- Taking reservations and orders

- Greeting and advising customers

- Problem solving

- Preparing and presenting staffing and sales reports

- Keeping statistical and financial records

- Assessing and improving profitability

- Setting targets

- Handling of administration and paperwork

- Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities,

and sales representatives

- Improving the running of the business and the development of the business

2. Primary Responsibilities.

- Overseeing the efficient running and profitability of the restaurant, and the management of the restaurant employees

- Daily supervision of the restaurant employees

- Managing operations with high emphasis on customer service and maintaining the restaurant’s standards and quality

- Assist in the marketing strategies to maximise results and increase sales

- Will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays

- Build and modify compensation plans to motivate employees

- Overseeing the interviewing, hiring, and training of all employees

- Overseeing food service and administrative duties

- Management of payrolls, licensing, supply ordering, inspections, and all documentation required by the restaurant

Required Qualifications

Experienced in restaurant serving, hard worker, well organised, clean and able to work under pressure. European citizen or work permit holder.
